5 years ago I met this kid who needed some help. He was smart, healthy and happy but he was hungry, unsupervised and needed a lot of love. The first thing he ask me for was food, the second was new shoes. He had one reason for asking for new shoes. He was bullied at school because his weren’t as clean or new as the other kids. To worry about the bully in the hall and learn at the same time is not very easy. He inspired me to start this campaign #kickingbulliestothecurb. Yesterday we went shoe shopping for 6 kids instead of 5 kids like we originally planned. I cant wait to go bigger next year. We hope y'all enjoy the video.
