The Coach De Foundation is a nonprofit organization designed to be used as a vehicle to bring resources to under served or low income neighborhoods. The Coach De Foundation was founded in May of 2019 by De’Andrea “Coach De” Sanders, a local community advocate. We currently host Coach De’s Closets, provide school supplies (shoes and uniforms) to local youth and participate in other local nonprofit events by providing crafts. We provide food, information and entertainment, along with arts and crafts, sports and educational programing.

Coach De’s Closets are events that provide clothing, toys, shoes, food and hygiene products to families in low-income neighborhoods. The Natchitoches poverty rate is a 46.8% compared to the Louisiana state poverty rate at 18.6%. The Closets are hosted at local parks to break the transportation and financial barriers families of the neighborhood encounter. The Coach De Foundation solicits lightly used or new items from the community to fill the closets prior to the events through donations.
